Sumatera Selatan Food Prices Today: What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (19/7/2024) at 09.49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, pure beef, fine iodized salt, red chilies, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, bulk wheat flour, medium rice, skipjack tuna, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp3,500 (5.98%) to Rp62,010 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots experienced the largest price drop of Rp570 (2.04%) to Rp27,320 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in South Sumatra according to Bapanas on July 19, 2024, at 09.49 WIB.
