Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Eggs Up, Cayenne Pepper Down

Today, prices of several food ingredients in Central Java are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (October 25, 2025) at 09:53 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 9 increased and 16 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler eggs, broiler chicken meat, curly red chili, Minyakita cooking oil, and corn at the farmer level.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, milkfish, medium rice, mackerel, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dried soybean seeds (imported) saw the highest jump of Rp264 (2.77%) to Rp9,805 per kg. Meanwhile, red cayenne pepper prices dropped the sharpest by Rp1,478 (5.09%) to Rp27,571 per kg.
