Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra: Chili, Onion, and Beef Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (17/02/2025) at 13.17 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated salt, medium rice, large red chilies, red chili peppers, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp2,252 (6.14%) to Rp38,913 per kg. The price of large red chilies decreased the most, by Rp1,503 (3.14%) to Rp46,364 per kg.
