The price of fresh daily broiler chicken at Riau Province's modern markets has remained unchanged for the past month.

Based on the latest data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in Riau Province's modern markets is recorded at Rp46,400 per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the last month, however, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in modern markets has decreased from Rp51,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken in Riau's modern markets over the past three months has increased by 14.57% from the previous price of Rp40,500 per kg.

The highest price increase for daily fresh broiler chicken in the province's modern markets was previously recorded in April 2017, with a 208.33% increase, while the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2017, with a -58.48% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Riau show seven commodities decreased and eleven increased. The commodities with decreased prices are Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Chicken Eggs, Granulated Sugar, and Fresh Chicken Eggs.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the last month in Riau Province:

6. Chili per kg: Rp112,600 (up 81.76%)
7. Red Chili per kg: Rp116,700 (up 63.33%)
8. Green Chili per kg: Rp108,500 (up 106.86%)
9. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per kg: Rp23,500 (down 1.88%)
10. Rice per kg: Rp15,800 (unchanged)
11. Red Onion per kg: Rp57,850 (up 56.35%)
12. Medium-sized Garlic per kg: Rp64,700 (up 8.74%)
