The Ministry of Finance recorded that the realization of ministry/agency spending reached Rp253.58 trillion, or 26.81% of the 2022 State Budget (APBN) ceiling.
This K/L spending realization was mainly used for salary and allowance payments, funding for K/L operational activities, K/L programs for procurement of equipment/machinery, roads, networks, irrigation, payments for national health insurance contributions, and social assistance.
Quoting data from APBN Kita (Our State Budget), Ministry of Finance, as of April 30, 2022, there were 15 ministries/agencies that recorded spending absorption with the largest ceiling, reaching 89.89% of the total K/L spending realization.
The Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) absorbed the largest spending, namely Rp39.25 trillion. This figure is even larger compared to the same period last year, which was Rp37.5 trillion.
This was driven by the realization of social assistance (Bansos) spending of Rp62.18 trillion, or 43.66% of the ceiling. The utilization of this Bansos realization was used, among other things, for the disbursement of the Family Hope Program (PKH) phase II assistance to 10 million families.
In addition, the disbursement of the Sembako (basic food) card assistance from January to May to 18.8 million families, and the payment of national health insurance (JKN) premium assistance for 84.9 million participants from the recipient beneficiary (PBI) segment.
Furthermore, the K/L with the next largest spending was the Indonesian National Police (Polri) which absorbed Rp33.8 trillion, the Ministry of Defense (Kemenhan) Rp32.8 trillion, and the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) Rp24.5 trillion.
"Spending absorption was mainly driven by the realization of Kemenhan, Polri, Kemensos, and Kemenkes. Infrastructure K/Ls experienced a slowdown due to the lack of payment for work at the end of 2021 and the non-commencement of 2022 work disbursement," as quoted from APBN Kita 2022, Friday (27/05).
