Indonesian Food Prices on Saturday (6/9): Buffalo Meat and Rice Prices Decline

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (6/9/2025) at 09.12 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were fresh buffalo meat (local), SPHP rice, red bird''s eye chili, pure beef, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, garlic bulbs, consumption sugar, consumption salt, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Farmer-level corn prices increased the most by Rp982 (14.82%) to Rp7,606 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices dropped the sharpest by Rp1,875 (5.43%) to Rp32,671 per kg.
