Yogyakarta Special Region Food Prices Today: Chili Prices Rise, Chicken Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (2/7/2024) at 14.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 1 commodity decreased.

The commodities that increased in price are shallots, chicken eggs, red chilies, curly red chilies, and red onions.

Meanwhile, only chicken meat decreased in price compared to yesterday's price.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,310 (4.12%) to Rp33,070 per kg. Chicken meat experienced the largest price drop, decreasing by Rp210 (0.59%) to Rp35,590 per kg.
