Current Food Prices in West Sumatra, What is the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (15/8/2024) at 12:48 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, farmer-level corn, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red chilies, chicken meat, medium rice, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel fish saw the highest increase, jumping Rp2,910 (6.82%) to Rp45,570 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili peppers experienced the sharpest decrease, falling Rp5,560 (9.14%) to Rp55,260 per kg.
