Aceh Food Prices Thursday (16/5): Beef Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (16/5/2024) at 13.29 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, simple packaged cooking oil, curly red chilies, skipjack tuna, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, Indian mackerel, dry soybean (import), shallot bulb, and red onion decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish saw the highest increase of Rp690 (2.05%) to Rp34,340 per kg. The price of Indian mackerel saw the lowest decrease of Rp2,080 (4.96%) to Rp39,830 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 19 food commodities in Aceh according to Bapanas as of May 16, 2024, at 13.29 WIB.
