Latest Bali Food Prices: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (April 18, 2025) at 10:03 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 16 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include bulb garlic, packaged wheat flour, broiler chicken meat, milkfish, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken eggs, red chilies, shallots, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase at Rp4,111 (11.45%), reaching Rp40,000 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies saw the steepest price drop at Rp5,828 (7.61%), reaching Rp70,765 per kg.

9. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp38,235 per kg (up 2.27%)
10. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,200 per kg (up 3.05%)
