Latest Food Prices in Banten: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food ingredients in Banten today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (October 17, 2025) at 13:20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 18 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are broiler chicken eggs, red bird's eye chili, and dried soybean seeds (imported).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, skipjack tuna, curly red chili, packaged wheat flour, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The red bird's eye chili commodity surged the highest by Rp629 (1.53%) to Rp41,765 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the deepest by Rp5,047 (9.13%) to Rp50,231 per kg.
