The Price of Grade 1 Beef in East Kalimantan is the Highest Nationally (Friday, January 7, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 165,760 per kg for grade 1 beef (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces as of Friday, January 7, 2022. Overall, the average this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 160,470 per kg.

The daily price of grade 1 beef in modern markets in East Kalimantan was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 257,050 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the daily price of grade 1 beef in this province remained unchanged. The highest price ever recorded in this region was Rp 312,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in West Kalimantan, the daily price of grade 1 beef was Rp 190,000 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Next, in third place, the daily price of grade 1 beef was Rp 180,000 per kg in Jambi, Rp 176,950 per kg in Central Sulawesi, and Rp 163,950 per kg in Central Java.

Meanwhile, nine provinces had daily sales of grade 1 beef below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest daily prices for grade 1 beef were Bangka Belitung Islands, North Sulawesi, and West Sumatra.
