Beef Prices Highest in These 10 Provinces (Monday, August 12, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of beef (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces reaching Rp 164,070 per kg, as of Monday, August 12, 2024. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 163,970 per kg.

The daily price of beef in modern markets in DKI Jakarta was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 230,800 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of beef in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 184,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Central Java, the price of beef was sold at Rp 191,850 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of beef in Lampung was Rp 183,950 per kg, in Yogyakarta Rp 179,550 per kg, and in South Sumatra Rp 178,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 16 provinces with beef prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest beef selling prices are Maluku, Bengkulu, and West Sulawesi.
