Sumatera Selatan Food Prices on Tuesday (November 19th): Chili Prices Rise, Salt Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (19/11/2024) at 09.49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, red chilies, pure beef, red chilies, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, iodized fine salt, chicken eggs, dry soybean (import), and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up by Rp1,670 (7.07%) to Rp25,290 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybeans (import) decreased the most sharply, down Rp500 (4.85%) to Rp9,810 per kg.

8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp27,280 per kg (up 0.48%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,020 per kg (down 0.88%)
10. Red Chilies: Rp25,290 per kg (up 7.07%)
