The daily price of low-quality rice at Modern Markets in South Sumatra Province has remained unchanged over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 08:23 WIB, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets in South Sumatra Province has not changed compared to the previous day, nor in the last week.

Regarding the price over the last month, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp16,250 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets in South Sumatra over the last three months has fallen by 7.69%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets in South Sumatra Province is traded at Rp16,250 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2025 with an increase of 179.08%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in February 2025 with a decrease of -66.52%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sumatra show five commodities decreased and 18 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Low-Quality Grade I Rice, Rice, Grade 1 Beef, Low-Quality Grade II Rice, and Medium Grade I Rice.
