Latest Banten Food Prices: Rice Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (February 11, 2025) at 13:23 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, kembung fish, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, medium rice, garlic bulbs, shallots, and fine iodized salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

SPHP rice prices surged the highest at Rp4,728 (38.3%) to Rp17,073 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most at Rp4,882 (9.01%) to Rp49,318 per kg.
