Jambi Region Food Prices Update: Red Chili Prices Up, Sugar Down

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (4/9/2025) at 11:31 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 increased and 11 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include SPHP rice, broiler chicken meat, bulk wheat flour, table salt, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita cooking oil, chicken eggs, table sugar, garlic bulb, and red shallots decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

The large red chili commodity saw the highest increase of Rp7,334 (17.74%) to Rp48,667 per kg. Meanwhile, imported dry soybean prices had the sharpest decrease of Rp211 (1.77%) to Rp11,718 per kg.
