Today's Food Prices in West Java March 11: Beef and Cooking Oil Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in West Java were observed to increase today compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (March 11, 2026) at 17:28 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 5 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include curly red chili, bulk palm cooking oil, red cayenne pepper, large red chili, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as broiler eggs, shallots, medium rice, Honan garlic, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The large red chili commodity jumped the highest by Rp2,916 (7.22%) to Rp43,296 per kg. As for medium rice, the price dropped the deepest by Rp41 (0.31%) to Rp13,131 per kg.

2. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp90,889 per kg (up 1.98%)
3. Large Red Chili: Rp43,296 per kg (up 7.22%)
4. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp40,250 per kg (up 0.38%)
5. Shallots: Rp38,877 per kg (down 0.19%)
6. Curly Red Chili: Rp38,272 per kg (up 0.59%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp34,947 per kg (down 0.11%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp30,651 per kg (down 0.18%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,343 per liter (up 0.09%)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,249 per liter (up 2.47%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,630 per kg (up 0.21%)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,700 per liter (unchanged)
13. Premium Rice: Rp14,524 per kg (down 0.16%)
14. Imported Soybeans: Rp13,307 per kg (unchanged)
15. Medium Rice: Rp13,131 per kg (down 0.31%)
