Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Sugar, Chicken Meat, and Eggs Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (30/12/2024) at 11:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), mackerel, milkfish, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, medium rice, pure beef, broiler chicken, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices surged the highest at Rp1,640 (4.34%) to Rp39,410 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots saw the steepest price drop of Rp990 (2.54%) to Rp38,040 per kg.
