Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta Region Sunday (28/9): Egg Prices Up, Red Chili Down

The prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (September 28, 2025) at 12.11 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler chicken meat, garlic bulbs, packaged cooking oil, SPHP rice, and packaged wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, mackerel, curly red chili, skipjack tuna, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken eggs saw the highest increase of Rp387 (1.4%) to Rp28,109 per kg. As for curly red chili, its price dropped the most by Rp2,677 (4.98%) to Rp51,045 per kg.

8. Shallots: Rp34,000 per kg (up 0.4%)
9. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp33,045 per kg (down 0.53%)
10. Garlic Bulbs: Rp30,360 per kg (up 0.44%)
