Latest Food Prices in Indonesia: Chicken Meat Up, Red Chili Down

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (October 19, 2025) at 09:13 AM Western Indonesian Time, out of 25 commodities, 3 increased and 22 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are broiler chicken meat, broiler chicken eggs, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, mackerel, frozen buffalo meat (imported), packaged wheat flour, and dried soybean seeds (imported) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken meat saw the highest jump of Rp439 (1.16%) to Rp38,420 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili dropped most sharply by Rp4,331 (7.78%) to Rp51,312 per kg.
