Aceh Region Food Prices Today: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (7/11/2024) at 13:38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, red chilies, garlic bulbs, iodized fine salt, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, shallots, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp650 (2.59%) to Rp25,760 per kg. Mackerel prices, on the other hand, saw the sharpest decrease, dropping by Rp600 (1.4%) to Rp42,370 per kg.
