Latest Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Chilies, Salt, and Chicken Meat Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (4/8/2024) at 12:20 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, premium rice, red chilies, shallots, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, curly red chilies, chicken eggs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp910 (4.45%) to Rp21,370 per kg. Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the sharpest price decrease, down by Rp510 (4.47%) to Rp10,910 per kg.
