Banten Region Food Prices Week of November 17th: Onion Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 12:06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, shallots, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna saw the highest increase of Rp3,290 (11.13%) to Rp32,840 per kg. The price of farmer-level corn saw the sharpest decrease of Rp670 (7.76%) to Rp7,960 per kg.
