Food Prices Today, December 17th, in Lampung: Chili, Onion, and Red Chili Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in Lampung today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (17/12/2025) at 13:26 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 5 commodities decreased.

The only commodity that increased in price was Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, red onions, curly red chilies, red cayenne chilies, and large red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic saw the highest increase of Rp250 (0.81%) to Rp31,125 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili dropped the sharpest by Rp8,334 (12.71%) to Rp57,222 per kg.

5. Red Onion: Rp37,250 per kg (down 4.49%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp37,000 per kg (stable)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp31,125 per kg (up 0.81%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp28,458 per kg (down 0.29%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,492 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,375 per kg (stable)
11. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp16,650 per liter (stable)
