Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra: Rice and Salt Prices Decrease

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (23/9/2025) at 13:22 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 increased and 12 decreased.

Commodities with increasing prices include mackerel, consumption sugar, red bird''s eye chili, SPHP rice, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as dry soybean seeds (imported), packaged wheat flour, packaged cooking oil, Minyakita, and garlic bulbs decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili prices surged the highest by Rp843 (1.29%) to Rp66,328 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices dropped the deepest by Rp3,390 (5.59%) to Rp57,240 per kg.

6. Shallots: Rp37,426 per kg (down 0.56%)
