Banten Region Food Prices Today: Onion Prices Rise, Red Chili Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have risen compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (October 19, 2025) at 1:20 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 saw price increases and 10 saw decreases.

Commodities with price increases include skipjack tuna, red cayenne pepper, milkfish, premium rice, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, large red chili, pure beef, mackerel, and consumption sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna rose the highest by Rp1,138 (3.25%) to Rp36,186 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili fell the sharpest by Rp1,500 (2.73%) to Rp53,500 per kg.
