Today's Food Prices (03/3) in South Sumatra: Chicken Meat Rises, Red Chili Peppers Fall

Some food commodity prices in South Sumatra today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (March 3, 2026) at 17:13 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 6 commodities decreased.

The only commodity that saw a price increase was broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Honan garlic, curly red chili peppers, large red chili peppers, broiler eggs, and red bird's eye chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken meat prices jumped the highest by Rp29 (0.08%) to Rp37,098 per kg. As for curly red chili peppers, prices fell the steepest by Rp395 (1.07%) to Rp36,615 per kg.

6. Honan Garlic: Rp33,521 per kg (down 0.74%)

8. Broiler Eggs: Rp28,706 per kg (down 0.1%)
9. Packaged Premium Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,604 per liter (unchanged)
