Food Prices Wednesday (20/8) Lampung Region: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in Lampung today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (20/8/2025) at 13:36 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 16 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include curly red chili, large red chili, consumption sugar, corn at the farmer level, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, skipjack tuna, pure beef, broiler chicken meat, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of red bird's eye chili soared the highest by Rp2,697 (6.98%) to Rp41,310 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of skipjack tuna dropped the most by Rp1,110 (3.68%) to Rp29,038 per kg.
