Bali's Latest Food Price Update: Chicken Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (16/8/2024) at 13.41 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), mackerel, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, iodized fine salt, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of broiler chicken saw the highest increase of Rp740 (1.95%) to Rp38,770 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of shallots saw the sharpest decrease of Rp390 (1.75%) to Rp21,860 per kg.
