Today's Food Prices in Jambi March 10: Red Chili Prices Rise

Some food commodity prices in Jambi today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (March 10, 2026) at 1:26 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 increased and 4 decreased in price.

The commodities that saw price increases are large red chilies, broiler chicken meat, beef hindquarters, curly red chilies, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as bulk palm cooking oil, premium rice, shallots, and red bird's eye chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili prices jumped the highest by Rp303 (0.93%) to Rp32,864 per kg. Red bird's eye chili prices fell the most by Rp834 (1.4%) to Rp58,685 per kg.
