Today's Food Prices in Jambi on February 12: Red Chili Prices Rise, Bird's Eye Chili Prices Fall

Several food commodity prices in Jambi today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 12, 2026) at 1:26 PM WIB, out of 15 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased in price.

The commodities that saw price increases are large red chilies and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, only red bird's eye chili decreased in price compared to yesterday.

Large red chili prices rose the most by Rp4,500 (12.68%) to Rp40,000 per kg. Red bird's eye chili prices fell the sharpest by Rp1,667 (2.3%) to Rp70,833 per kg.
