Lampung Region's Current Food Prices: Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (6/5/2024) at 17.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, skipjack tuna, garlic bulbs, bulk wheat flour, and fine iodized salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, red chilies, red cayenne peppers, pure beef, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulbs saw the highest price increase of Rp1,020 (2.54%) to Rp41,120 per kg. Red chilies experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,350 (3.24%) to Rp40,350 per kg.
