Latest Food Prices in Jambi: Cooking Oil Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (15/8/2024) at 12.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are loose cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-loose), and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, broiler chicken, milkfish, skipjack tuna, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-loose) saw the highest price increase of Rp250 (1.94%) to Rp13,110 per kg. Red chilies experienced the steepest price drop of Rp2,290 (3.96%) to Rp55,470 per kg.
