Food Prices in Banten Region Wednesday (22/10): Oil Prices Rise, Red Chili Falls

Today's prices for several food commodities in Banten are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (22/10/2025) at 13:20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 12 increased and 10 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include premium rice, packaged cooking oil, fresh local buffalo meat, Minyakita, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices for several commodities such as consumption salt, red cayenne pepper, red onion, medium rice, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged cooking oil saw the highest increase of Rp443 (2.24%) to Rp20,261 per liter. The price of large red chili experienced the deepest drop of Rp3,590 (6.87%) to Rp48,632 per kg.
