Today's Food Prices in West Java, How Much are Chilies?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (3/7/2024) at 13.42 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, medium-grain rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), curly red chilies, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,820 (4.59%) to Rp41,460 per kg. Iodized fine salt experienced the sharpest price drop, decreasing Rp630 (5.79%) to Rp10,260 per kg.
