The price of chili peppers in Riau Province's modern markets has decreased by 37.38% over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 16:23 WIB, the daily price of chili peppers in Riau province's modern markets has dropped by Rp 34,900 per kg compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 70,350 per kg.

Compared to the price over the past month, the daily price of chili peppers in modern markets has decreased from Rp 112,350 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chili peppers in modern markets in Riau over the past three months has fallen by 5.7%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of chili peppers in Riau province's modern markets was traded at Rp 74,600 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of chili peppers in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in May 2017 with a 76.26% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in April 2017 with a -40.38% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Riau today show 12 commodities decreased and 12 others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases include Cooking Oil, Chili Peppers, Branded Cooking Oil 1, Large Red Chili, Red Chili Peppers, Green Chili Peppers, Red Chili, Curly Red Chili, Medium Quality Rice I, Chicken Meat, Chicken Eggs, and Fresh Chicken Eggs.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the past month in Riau province:

2. Chili Peppers per Kg: Rp 70,350 per kg (down 37.38%)

5. Red Chili Peppers per Kg: Rp 83,700 per kg (down 28.28%)
6. Branded Cooking Oil 2 per Kg: Rp 24,200 per kg (unchanged)
7. Green Chili Peppers per Kg: Rp 56,950 per kg (down 47.51%)
8. Red Chili per Kg: Rp 90,600 per kg (down 17.71%)
9. Curly Red Chili per Kg: Rp 75,950 per kg (down 27.11%)
