Latest Food Prices in West Java: Chili Up, Oil Down (Sunday, March 31, 2024)

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (31/3/2024) at 10:09 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, milkfish, farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp2,510 (6.19%) to Rp43,050 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of farmer-level corn decreased the most by Rp1,640 (20.55%) to Rp6,340 per kg.
