Top 10 Indonesian Provinces with the Highest Village Fund Realization by October 2023: East Java Takes the Lead

The Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) reported that as of October 13, 2023, the realization of village funds had reached Rp54.71 trillion. This realization is equivalent to 78.20% of the allocated budget, which is Rp70 trillion.

Based on region, East Java is the province with the largest national village fund realization, reaching Rp6.72 trillion as of October 13, 2023. This figure only covers 84.4% of the target.

Second is Central Java with village fund realization reaching Rp6.24 trillion, or 79.60% of the target.

West Java follows in the next rank with realized village funds amounting to Rp4.95 trillion, or 81.20% of the target.

Followed by Aceh at Rp3.88 trillion (81.60%) and North Sumatra at Rp3.47 trillion (76.40%). The rest is attached to the graph.

Citing the official DJPb Instagram (@ditjenperbendaharaan), some of these funds were used for the disbursement of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) amounting to Rp7.87 trillion or 74.7% of the allocated budget.

These BLT funds were given to 2.9 million beneficiary families (KPM) located in 74,916 villages in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the disbursement of non-BLT village funds as of October 13, 2023, reached Rp46.89 trillion or 81.5% of the target.

The DJPb stated that the State Budget (APBN) is present for the people through the Regional Transfer (TKD) instrument, which supports economic transformation and realizes equitable prosperity for the people throughout Indonesia.

"One of them is through Village Funds, which are primarily used for economic recovery programs, village government operational funds, food and livestock resilience programs, including the development of village barns, and support for priority sector programs in villages," wrote the DJPb on its official Instagram, Friday (20/10/2023).
