Today's Food Prices January 06 in Central Java: Chicken Meat and Onion Prices Fall

Prices of several food ingredients in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Price Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (6/1/2026) at 13.54 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are bulk granulated sugar, medium rice, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chili, broiler eggs, red onions, broiler chicken meat, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Premium rice commodities surged the highest by Rp124 (0.83%) to Rp15,123 per kg. Red bird's eye chili prices dropped the deepest by Rp1,056 (2.39%) to Rp43,148 per kg.
