Latest Food Prices in West Java: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Saturday, March 30, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (30/3/2024) at 12:15 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, pure beef, granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, red chili peppers, iodized fine salt, skipjack tuna, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was livestock-level corn, rising by Rp1,520 (23.53%) to Rp7,980 per kg. The commodity with the lowest price decrease was red chilies, falling by Rp1,680 (3.82%) to Rp42,250 per kg.
