Jambi Food Prices Friday (29/8): Bird''s Eye Chili Up, Buffalo Meat Down

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (29/8/2025) at 10:17 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 increased and 14 decreased.

Commodities whose prices increased include garlic bulbs, large red chili, curly red chili, premium rice, and red bird''s eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, packaged cooking oil, pure beef, bulk cooking oil, and fresh buffalo meat (local) decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Red bird''s eye chili saw the highest jump of Rp1,297 (3.39%) to Rp39,556 per kg. The price of frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) experienced the deepest drop of Rp102,500 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
