Today''s Food Prices in Jambi Region: Chicken Meat Up, Buffalo Meat Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency''s (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (September 15, 2025) at 08:37 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 increased and 16 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include bulk wheat flour, medium rice, skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, consumption sugar, garlic bulb, pure beef, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Broiler chicken meat saw the highest increase of Rp1,862 (4.92%) to Rp39,706 per kg. Meanwhile, frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad) experienced the sharpest decline of Rp12,500 (12.2%) to Rp90,000 per kg.
