Lampung Region's Current Food Prices: Chili Prices Rise, Rice Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (12/6/2024) at 13.21 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, pure beef, red chilies, red cayenne peppers, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, bulk cooking oil, dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp2,410 (4.73%) to Rp53,380 per kg. Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the sharpest price decrease, down by Rp70 (0.53%) to Rp13,250 per kg.
