Food Prices Today, November 27, in East Java: Egg, Red Chili, and Onion Prices Rise

Prices of several food items in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessities Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (27/11/2025) at 17:39 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are shallots, large red chilies, curly red chilies, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, only red bird's eye chilies decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Large red chili commodity rose the highest by Rp485 (0.97%) to Rp50,591 per kg. The price of red bird's eye chilies decreased the sharpest by Rp197 (0.51%) to Rp38,455 per kg.
