Current Food Prices in East Java: Chili, Egg, and Oil Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (3/12/2024) at 09.12 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, dry soybean (import), medium rice, fine iodized salt, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, bulk wheat flour, curly red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) prices surged the highest by Rp430 (4.38%) to Rp10,250 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices decreased the most by Rp2,020 (6.24%) to Rp30,340 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in East Java according to Bapanas on December 3, 2024, at 09.12 WIB.
