Latest Food Prices in Bali: Chili, Onion, and Salt Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (29/7/2024) at 15:54 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SHP rice, chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, red chilies, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, premium rice, fine iodized salt, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp8,250 (11.6%) to Rp79,390 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most sharply by Rp4,000 (9.07%) to Rp40,120 per kg.
