East Java Food Prices, Tuesday (November 5th): What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (5/11/2024) at 11:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), milkfish, bulk cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, SPHP rice, chicken eggs, red chilies, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,480 (5.28%) to Rp29,490 per kg. Red chilies experienced the steepest price decrease of Rp1,530 (7.99%) to Rp17,620 per kg.
