Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Onion, Chili, and Rice Prices Drop

Some food commodity prices in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (8/11/2025) at 09:53 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 increased and 14 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include bulk wheat flour, dried soybean seeds (imported), curly red chili, mackerel, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as fresh buffalo meat (local), SPHP rice, bulk cooking oil, corn at farmer level, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices jumped the highest by Rp1,683 (4.96%) to Rp35,632 per kg. The price of fresh buffalo meat (local) dropped the sharpest by Rp144,375 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
