Current Food Prices in Bali: Shallots Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (20/10/2025) at 10:23 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 increased and 14 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include medium rice, packaged wheat flour, garlic, shallots, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, dried soybean seeds (imported), mackerel, curly red chili, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish commodity jumped the highest by Rp833 (2.27%) to Rp37,500 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili dropped the deepest by Rp1,003 (3.08%) to Rp31,588 per kg.

Below is the complete list of prices for 23 food commodities in Bali according to Bapanas on October 20, 2025, at 10:23 AM WIB.

5. Mackerel: Rp38,889 per kg (down 0.1%)
6. Milkfish: Rp37,500 per kg (up 2.27%)
7. Shallots: Rp32,588 per kg (up 1.12%)
8. Garlic: Rp32,059 per kg (up 0.9%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,636 per kg (down 2.28%)
10. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp31,588 per kg (down 3.08%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp27,306 per kg (down 0.8%)
